This document is intended to test aspects of the operation of a subscriber and a Radio Frequency Sub-System (RFSS) in the interests of adhering to key aspects of the Two-Slot Trunked TDMA Voice Services Common Air Interface MAC protocol as described in [R1]. It includes a set of CP items or procedures for basic operation. A CP is a conformance test consisting of set of pre-conditions and input parameters that result in an expected output from a Unit Under Test. The CP nomenclature provides an independent conformance test numbering system that is unique with this Standard and not dependent on the paragraph, clause, or subclause numbering used in the document. The CPs are: -- CP 1 - Voice Channel Procedures -- CP 1.1 - Assigned VCH Initial Access Procedures -- CP 1.2 - Assigned VCH Maintenance Procedures -- CP 1.3 - Assigned VCH Termination Procedures -- CP 1.4 - Assigned VCH Message Trunking Call Continuation Procedures -- CP 1.5 - Assigned VCH Pre-emption Procedures This document is intended for use by manufacturers to serve as a standard reference for verifying adherence to the MAC protocol as described in [R1], as a means of assisting manufacturers in the development of interoperable TIA102 series equipment, and as a means of assisting manufacturers in the diagnosis of interoperability issues, should they occur. This document is not designed for use as a functional test suite. This document assumes an audience familiar with terms and definitions contained in the TIA102 series standards.
