The required specifications, test conditions and methods of measurement of RF Signal Boosters, commonly called Bi-directional Amplifiers (BDA's), used in Land-Mobile Services (e.g. FCC Part 90 and similar harmonized services) are presented for establishing conformance to the performance requirements. Although the general definitions are taken from the US FCC rules, there is no intention of limiting the scope of this document to signal boosters operated under FCC licenses or authority, but are intended to apply to any booster developed to primarily serve the landmobile market under any licensing or equipment certification authority. The supplementary terms and definitions and the conditions of measurement set forth in this Standard are intended for typical tests and may be used also for acceptance tests.
