DIN EN 61000-6-1 VDE 0839-6-1:2007-10

This standard contains the German version of the European standard EN 61000-6-1 which takes over the International Standard IEC 61000-6-1. It specifies immunity requirements in the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz for electrical and electronic apparatus intended for use in residential, commercial and light-industrial environments. Hereto the performance criteria are defined and the relevant test levels are given on a port by port basis. Furthermore the dedicated test methods are specified by reference to the relevant EMC basic standards. In relation to the previous edition it was deleted that existing product or product family immunity standards take precedence for apparatus falling into their scope, the test with electroamgnetic radio-frequency fields was extended to the frequency range 1,4 GHz to 2,0 GHz and 2,0 GHz to 2,7 GHz and the test at the functional earth port was deleted. Corresponding texts of the generic standards were aligned.
