Description / Abstract:
These requirements cover automatic and manual starters intended
for use with fluorescent lamps in accordance with the National
Electrical Code. Starters for use with simple reactance-type
fluorescent-lamp ballasts are intended for use in circuits
involving a potential of 125 V maximum. Manual starters
incorporating a line switch are rated either 125 or 250 V.
