Description / Abstract:
These requirements apply to low-voltage luminaires, rated 24
volts or less, of the surface mounted or recessed type intended for
permanent installation in park trailers in accordance with Article
552 of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, or in recreational
vehicles in accordance with the Standard for Low Voltage Systems in
Conversion and Recreational Vehicles, ANSI/RVIA LV (as referenced
by Article 551 of NFPA 70).
These requirements do not apply to running or clearance lights intended to be mounted on the exterior of a recreational vehicle.
Light emitting diode (LED) components and subassemblies integral to a low voltage luminaire covered by this standard shall comply with the applicable requirements of the Standard for Light Emitting Diode (LED) Equipment for Use in Lighting Products, UL 8750.
These requirements do not apply to running or clearance lights intended to be mounted on the exterior of a recreational vehicle.
