The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum requirements for fusion-bonded epoxy coatings and linings for steel water pipelines and fittings, including materials, application, and testing. This standard can be referenced in documents for fusion-bonded epoxy coatings and linings for steel water pipelines and fittings. The stipulations of this standard apply when this document has been referenced and then only to fusion-bonded epoxy for the interior and exterior of steel water pipelines and fittings.
